Wild Animal Trapping Licence

Licence No. _______________ of 19 ______________ dated the _________________ day of 19

Subject to the provisions of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 and the rules made thereunder, permission is hereby granted to Shri. _____________________________ resident of ________________________ district, ___________________ to capture the animals specified below during the period commencing from  _________________________ and ending with _________________________

1. Area in which trapping is permitted.

2. (i) Name of animal.

   (ii) No. to be trapped.

   (iii) Sex.

    (iv) Minimum size.

    (v) Royalty, if any, paid.

3. Method of trapping and conditions under which the trapping should be carried out.

4. This licence shall be subject to the closed time declared under section 16 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972.

5. The licensee shall, while trapping, strictly adhere to the provisions of section 17 of the Act and rule 17 of the Wild Life (Protection) ( ) Rules, 1973.

6. The licence shall be surrendered to the issuing authority within 15 days of its expiry or before leaving
the area specified in the licence, whichever earlier, together with the statement in Form No.  7 of animals captured by him.
