CHAPTER-IV PASTURING OF CATTLE IN RESERVED & PROTECTED FOREST [ Sections 26 (1), 26 (2) (a), 32(i) and 76 (d) ]

| 21. | No person shall pasture cattle in reserved or protected forest- | |
| Prohibition of pasturing of cattle in forests except in areas specially assigned & except under permit. | (a) | Except within the areas assigned for such purpose by or under the orders of the Government or Chief Conservator of Forests. |
| (b) | Without obtaining a permit from the Divisional Forest Officer which may be granted subject to the payment of the prescribed fees subject to such conditions as may be prescribed. | |
